How did Julia Child impact the world of food in America? Julia Child was a classically trained French chef who wanted to teach Americans to cook. She thought that cooking should be fun and that using the right techniques and ingredients would allow anyone to cook successfully. She wanted the world to love food, cooking, and entertaining as much as she did. “Julia Child revolutionized American cuisine through her French cooking school, award-winning cookbooks, and world-renowned television programs by presenting an approachable version of sophisticated French cooking...” (http://www.pbs.org/food/chefs/julia-child/).
